On the day that Queen Elizabeth reaches the milestone of being the longest reigning British monarch it seems appropriate to remember the A2 in Rainham being renamed Sovereign Boulevard for her Silver Jubilee in 1977.
The A2 in Rainham has various different names along its length including Moor Street, High Street, Broad Walk as well as Sovereign Boulevard.
