For the past few years we have been compiling a Third Picture Book of Rainham. It contains some of the many pictures that have come to hand since the first two books were last published in 1987 (there are no plans to reprint them). Rainham and district have a limited choice of photographic opportunities so although none of the pictures in the third book was included in either of the first two several are very similar. Many have also been published in Action Forum.
The book will be launched on February 13th at 'The Big Open Day' to be held at St Margaret's Church and The Millennium Centre loam to 4pm. As many local people have contributed pictures and information during the production of the book we have decided to donate £4.00 from each copy sold to help pay for the Current restoration and future maintenance of the Church.
