From 4th September 2017 there are various road closures for gas mains repairs that will close Orchard Street, Broadview Avenue and Herbert Road for several weeks at a time. Similar repairs took place in Lonsdale Drive a couple of years ago and caused a fair bit of disruption
Full details of the schedule are shown below but Herbert Road closes from 4th September for 8 weeks and is closed in 2 phases
Orchard Street and Broadview Avenue closures are planned to start from 23rd October 2017 with duration of 7 weeks for Broadview and 1 week for Orchard Street.
