Sunley Estates wanted to build 111 houses and 30 flats on the last piece of land set aside in the 1960s for construction of the Parkwood housing development.
The land was south of Dolphin Drive and the homes would be in a cul-de-sac off Dolphin Drive although some would be servered from Thrale Way.
From Google maps is appears that this development took place and extended Thrale Way and created Goldsmith Road and Ferrier Close in Parkwood.
