Freddie Cooper - Rainham Cricket Club

Did you know that in the year before he died Rainham historian Freddie Cooper was the oldest surviving former Rainham Cricket Club player. He played during the 1930s and was later club secretary. Just before Freddie it was Ted Ballard from Birling Avenue who played with the handicap of an artificial leg during the 1920s. At present, as far as I am aware, Jack Temple of Herbert Road is the oldest surviving player now in his mid nineties.
