I wonder if you can help me....I am trying to find out when Perks  a grocers situated on the corner of Longley Road Rainham closed and ceased trading.

Hope you can help

That’s the same question I want to ask, did they cease trading or change their name? I remember their spam, my mum sent me to buy but by the time I’d got home, I’d eaten most of it! They were situated by Holloway Rd tube station

Lest we run out of Richards let me reiterate. Perk's sausages really tasted delicious! Hmmmmmmm

Would you believe, yet another Richard of Rainham said
"Was it that Perk's sausages were so exceptional or was it we were all so hungry as a previous Richard said?

Either way, they were superb to my family!

All I can contribute is 'Perks Sausages' were legendary in my youth spent in Rainham !
