Lonsdale Drive

 

Dear sir/madam,
 
I am conducting a piece of research for a project I am working on.  I am interested in learning more about the origin of Lonsdale Drive in Rainham.  In particular, I would like to know the origin of the road and why it is called Lonsdale Drive. Are you able to help, or at least point me in the direction of some resources where I may find my answers.

Interestingly perhaps, in Sittingbourne there is an estate which has several of the same road names as the area of Rainham where Lonsdale Drive is; Lonsdale Drive, Kenilworth Court, Gayhurst Drive.
