Reseaching farmer Thomas Dodd of Rainham 1861
 
Am researching antecedent Thomas Dodd who ran a farm in the Rainham area in the 1850s and 60s. Married to Jane and large family. Shows in 1851 and 1861 censuses but no address shown of farm. Can you help to identify the farm. T D born 1791, Jane b 1795.  Is this the TD who part inaugurated Rainham Cricket Club 1856?

The Dodd family owned Cozenton Farm and other areas of land in Rainham and Upchurch. Thomas Dodd helped Richard Wakeley and James Miles form Rainham Cricket Club in 1856. The two families were related, for example, Thomas Stanley Wakeley married Marianne Dodd in 1855.
